How to reactivate if you have been inactive for a year or more

Reactivation is done online through the Alpha Kappa Alpha Member Portal.

1. Sign in to the Member Portal. On aka1908.com, choose Member Login. If you can't sign in, reset your password with the "Forgot Your Password?" link. If you have never used the portal, ask the Corporate Office for access through the aka1908.com Contact Us form, choosing "Member Login issue."
2. Choose Request Reactivation from the menu on the left.
3. Pick how you are reactivating. Choose Chapter Member to reactivate with a chapter such as Iota Zeta Omega, or General Member. A General Member reactivation goes straight to payment; a Chapter Member reactivation asks a few more questions before you submit.

There is a national reinstatement fee, and some sorors also owe one-time assessments. Reactivating through a chapter also includes that chapter's dues and assessments. Contact Iota Zeta Omega about chapter dues.
